The Piaggio Group has announced the opening of a new "Motoplex Store" in Mandello del Lario, Italy, where the Moto Guzzi headquarters is located. It is a complex facility that not only displays and sells vehicles and apparel from the group's various brands, including Moto Guzzi, but also features a museum and a cafe.

A new hub to experience the world of Moto Guzzi and the Piaggio Group

On September 17, 2026, the Piaggio Group announced the opening of a new "Motoplex Store" in Mandello del Lario, Italy. Opened in conjunction with the "GMG (Moto Guzzi World Days)" event held in early September, the new Motoplex store displays the entire Moto Guzzi motorcycle lineup. In addition, the full lineup of scooters and motorcycles from Aprilia, Vespa, and Piaggio, which belong to the Piaggio Group, is also available.

Beyond vehicle displays, the store also handles a wide range of genuine accessories and apparel for each brand. From technical gear for touring to casual leisure wear, the "Made in Mandello" collection, as well as Aprilia Racing's MotoGP team kits and elegant Vespa items, are available for purchase.

Next to the store, there is a cafe, a workshop, and a space for events, functioning as a modern hub where fans can gather and interact. The company describes it as a place to share knowledge about the world of Moto Guzzi and enjoy new experiences.

Visit the museum with over 160 exhibits and the historic wind tunnel facility

From the windows of the new Motoplex store, you can overlook a spacious courtyard, from which you can access the adjacent "Moto Guzzi Museum." This museum displays over 160 carefully restored historic models, allowing visitors to trace not only the evolution of motorcycles but also the changes in society, technology, and design.

Furthermore, visiting the Mandello del Lario facility offers the opportunity to tour the actual production line. The tour route also includes the historic wind tunnel facility, known for being the first of its kind built on the grounds of a motorcycle manufacturer in 1954.
