Custom Revolution's Z800

This Z800 custom has a GPZ900R Ninja's upper cowl. The base model is Z800 ('13-'17), a modern inline 4-cylinder naked bike. The Z series is positioned by Kawasaki as the "super naked" series in its modern lineup (in contrast, the full cowl model is the Ninja series). It is noticeable that the Ninja cowl maches exquisitely Z800. This style is as if there were a "Ninja 800" model with a cowl as the Z800's sibling.

The upper cowl and its brackets were designed by CUSTOM REVOLUTION, but they have developed a lineup for the Z1000 and Ninja1000. Then, each has been modified for this custom. You can see how naturally they are fitted. And including the exquisite coloring, it seems to be a well-balanced installation like this.

Electrical

On the Custom Revolution's carbon panel, speedometer is retained, but the others such as a tachometer and a shift lamp by Defi and an aftermarket position indicator are prepared.

Intake & Exhaust

Silencer is by AKRAPOVIC. Other parts like engine and chassis are remained to be stock, however, Ninja's atomosphere is strangely enhanced.

Bodyworks

The blinkers are those of a modern model, but they do not look out of place. The cowl itself has a good shape.

When installing a Custom Revolution Ninja cowl on a modern Z-series bike, in addition to the usual specific cowl brackets, a neck bracket visible at the bottom of the upper cowl is also required. Cowl painting to match the base bike's body color (such as the green Z line in this case) is also done by them.

The under cowl is a Custom Revolution original and also functions as an oil catch tray.
