[New motorcycle model] M1000RR gets a new frame! BMW announces updates for the 2027 model year

BMW Motorrad has announced updates to its product lineup for the 2027 model year on its official website. New specification models are scheduled to be available for order at partner dealerships starting in August 2026.

Enhanced Equipment for Sport Models and Chassis Overhaul for the M 1000 RR

This update introduces significant specification changes, primarily for the supersport models. Notably, the "M 1000 RR" will now come standard with the third-generation M Motorsport frame, achieving approximately a 1.3kg weight reduction compared to the previous model, along with optimized rigidity and flexibility.

Additionally, the "S 1000 RR" will feature a new color option: Blackstorm metallic combined with M Motorsport colors. A USB charging port will also be standard equipment on models with the Dynamic package. Furthermore, new optional packages such as the "M Endurance Chain" and "M Motorsport Wheels" will be available for various models, expanding customization choices.

Improved Convenience for Tourer and Roadster Models

The touring models in the "K 1600" series and the roadster models also receive updates with new color schemes and enhanced package options. All K 1600 series models will feature a new Imperial Blue Metallic color option, offered as the Style Edition II.

For the "R 1300 R," left and right case holders are now available as factory options. Additionally, a new touring package has been introduced, combining case holders, central locking, and a center stand, further enhancing convenience for long-distance rides.
