[New motorcycle model] Aprilia's new "RS 660 Factory" released in a limited edition of 12 units, a special specification with Öhlins suspension and wings.

Piaggio Group Japan has launched the "RS 660 Factory," an upgraded version of the mid-weight sportbike "RS 660," with a limited production of 12 units. Orders began on July 14, 2026. The price is ¥1,980,000 (tax included), and shipments are scheduled to start sequentially around August of the same year.

Equipped with Öhlins Suspension and Aerodynamic Devices Derived from MotoGP

The RS 660 Factory is the sportiest model in the series, equipped as standard with high-performance Öhlins suspension on both the front and rear. The front features 43mm diameter NIX30 series forks, and the rear is equipped with an STX46 shock absorber with a reservoir tank. Both are fully adjustable, allowing for hydraulic adjustment of rebound and compression damping, as well as spring preload.

A significant exterior feature is the newly designed fairing, reflecting knowledge gained from MotoGP participation. Large wings are integrated into the lower part of the front fairing, combined with two smaller aerodynamic parts, to reduce air resistance and improve stability at high speeds. The double-layer structure of the side fairings efficiently exhausts heat from the engine and radiator, enhancing rider comfort.

Engine Power Increased to 105 HP and Evolved Electronic Control System

The 659cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine complies with EURO 5+ environmental standards, and the throttle body has been enlarged from 48mm to 52mm. This increases the maximum output from the previous 100 HP to 105 HP. The chassis features an aluminum twin-spar frame, and the vehicle weight is kept light at 183 kg with 90% fuel load.

The electronic control system, APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control), has also been evolved. A new launch control system for standing starts has been added, along with integrated control of traction control, wheelie control, and a bidirectional quickshifter. The instrument panel features a large 5-inch full-color LCD panel, and operability is enhanced by backlit handlebar switches.
