Kawasaki has announced the 2026 Ninja 1100SX sports tourer and its higher-end version, the Ninja 1100SX SE. Equipped with a 1,098cc displacement parallel four-cylinder engine and featuring enhanced comfort equipment and electronic controls, the Ninja 1100SX SE is configured for both touring and sport riding. It will be sold exclusively at Kawasaki Plaza, with a release date of January 17, 2026 (Saturday). The SX is priced at 1,782,000 yen and the SX SE at 1,991,000 yen.

Top tourer with a 1,098cc engine and optimized gear ratios for easy handling

The engine mounted on the Ninja 1100SX series is a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line four-cylinder, 1,098cc unit. Combined with an optimized gear ratio, the engine is easy to handle in the low-to-mid range and delivers a generous power feel when accelerating. It is suitable for a wide range of situations, from highway cruising to winding roads. On the electronic control side, traction control and cruise control help reduce the burden of long-distance travel and support stable driving. The Ninja 1100SX is equipped with a two-way quickshifter as standard, which allows for smooth shifting while reducing clutch operation, The Ninja 1100SX is configured for comfortable use regardless of the season or distance traveled. The higher-end Ninja 1100SX SE features a strengthened suspension. It is equipped with Brembo brake components in the front and Öhlins suspension in the rear to enhance braking power and road-following performance.
