The Motorcycle Federation of Japan (MFJ) has announced that it will send "TEAM JAPAN" to the FIM Motocross of Nations, the pinnacle of motocross and a national team competition, to be held in France from October 2nd to 4th, 2026.

The Motorcycle Federation of Japan (MFJ) has announced that it will send "TEAM JAPAN" to the FIM Motocross of Nations, the pinnacle of motocross and a national team competition, to be held in France from October 2nd to 4th, 2026.
The Japanese national team dispatched this time will consist of three riders: Yuki Okura, Kainosuke Oshiro, and Haruki Yokoyama. The classes for Okura and Oshiro are yet to be determined and will be announced at a later date.
Last year, TEAM JAPAN reached the finals for the first time in nine years, finishing in 11th place overall. Although ace rider Jo Shimoda will be absent this year, the team aims to qualify directly from the heats and finish within the top 15 in the finals, challenging the stage where the world's strongest nations gather.
Event Overview and Upcoming Send-off Party
The event will be held at Circuit Raymond Demy in France. The MFJ will manage the team, with Kazuto Shimasaki accompanying as a dispatched staff member. Ifing Co., Ltd., which develops the system treatment "TOKIO INKARAMI," has been decided as the main sponsor for this team.
A send-off party for the national team is scheduled to be held at the venue of the "D.I.D. All Japan Motocross Championship Series 2026, Round 7 Kinki Tournament." Detailed schedules and the latest information will be sequentially released on the MFJ official website.
