KTM Japan has officially announced the launch of the Svartpilen 801 SE (Style Edition), a variation model of Husqvarna Motorcycles' Svartpilen 801 middle scrambler, in Japan. The model is scheduled to go on sale in May 2026 at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of 1,459,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax).
Olive Green Metallic, a limited-edition adult color that deepens under the sunlight
The "Svartpilen" has a unique character with its minimalistic, edgy, and modern styling from Scandinavia, which is different from ordinary naked and classic models. The upright handlebars and the high, but well-calculated seat shape create a good footing position, making it a popular model that allows riders to enjoy a comfortable and unified riding experience without worrying about everyday use or touring. The new "SE (Style Edition)" model is now available in a high-quality color scheme that further enhances its original form, and at the same time comes standard with functional equipment that enhances its practicality for touring.
The SE's most distinctive feature is its elegant and chic coloring. The "Olive Green Metallic" used on the exterior has a subdued matte finish at first glance, but when exposed to sunlight, the metallic shine and deep hue emanate from it. The result is a modern interpretation of the essence of flat-track racers and scramblers, and further accentuates Husqvarna's unique formative beauty. The new Husqvarna also features a quick shifter that functions both up and down, and cruise control as standard equipment to ensure comfort on the highway.
At the heart of this model is a 799cc DOHC parallel-twin engine that delivers powerful performance with maximum output of 105 PS (9,250 rpm) and maximum torque of 87 Nm (8,000 rpm). The lightweight engine and chromoly frame make it easy to handle at the rider's will, from nimble handling in town to sport riding on winding roads,
