Royal Enfield has announced the new model "BULLET 650," inheriting its traditional styling. Orders will begin at authorized dealerships nationwide on August 7, 2026, with sales commencing on August 27. The price starts from 980,100 yen (tax included).

650cc Parallel-Twin Engine Meets Traditional Style

The new BULLET 650 is equipped with the same 648cc air-cooled parallel-twin SOHC 4-valve engine found in the existing SUPER METEOR 650 and CLASSIC 650, mounted on a steel tubular spine frame. The company states that it delivers a maximum output of 34.6kW (47PS) and a maximum torque of 52.3Nm, combined with a 6-speed transmission and an assist & slipper clutch, to achieve smooth power delivery and agile riding.

The exterior features a teardrop-shaped fuel tank adorned with hand-painted pinstripes and a three-dimensional winged emblem. The headlight nacelle, which houses the "tiger eye" pilot lamps above the main headlight, along with the visor-equipped LED headlight and steel exterior parts, carries on the traditional aesthetic beauty into the modern era.

The chassis features 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels and SHOWA suspension, providing a comfortable riding position and ride quality in conjunction with the integrated bench seat. The instrumentation combines an analog speedometer with an LCD screen, allowing riders to check fuel levels, gear position, and more.

Two Color Options and Domestic Launch Information

The domestic launch date is August 27, 2026 (Thursday), and reservations have been accepted at Royal Enfield authorized dealerships nationwide since August 7 (Friday). The color variations are "Cannon Black" and "Battleship Blue," with prices differing depending on the color.
