Webike's Opinion
Here is a "YAMAHA SR500" custom by Webike community user "masa". For the exhaust, the owner, captivated by the timeless and standard design of the SR500, chose the EMGO Exhaust DUNSTALL 80-84050. This slip-on megaphone exhaust is a faithful replica of the early SR500 exhaust, featuring a lotus root pattern at the exhaust tip. To mellow out the exhaust sound, a DAYTONA Inner Silencer has been inserted.
At the rear side of the bike, a compact and easy-to-use DAYTONA Assist Grips are installed. These grips not only aids in maneuvering the bike but also seamlessly blends with the bike's classic appearance, making it a recommended dress-up part. The front sprockets are from SUNSTAR, a trusted brand known for its excellent cost performance and consistently high user ratings. The sprocket boasts exceptional durability with the synergistic effect of high-level quenching for superior hardness and anti-corrosion treatment that prevents material degradation. Its high-precision finish prevents unnecessary wear, protecting the chain and ensuring smooth riding.
Additionally, A DAYTONA Oil Thermometer with Dipstick is installed to monitor the oil temperature. If the oil temperature rises above 120°C, it can cause overheating, increasing the risk of engine damage, a problem serious enough to require costly repairs. This oil temperature gauge, though simple, also served as a dress-up part, adding a touch of style in a constantly visible location.
