I wanted a mid-size four-cylinder motorcycle and was considering a used CB400SF. However, I became interested in the ZX-4R SE, which was available new at a lower price than a well-maintained used one. As I researched it, I fell in love with it and decided to purchase it.

Strengths

As I'm upgrading from a 2005 Estrella 250, I'm satisfied with its operability, comfort, and performance. While the unique rhythmic sound of the single-cylinder was good, I'm also very fond of the high-pitched sound when the four-cylinder revs up.

Weaknesses

The only thing I can mention is that it has absolutely no luggage capacity.

Advice for Potential Buyers

For those who love the looks, sound, and specs but are hesitant about the price, I strongly recommend buying it without compromise (though I advise against buying it if it would strain your finances; purchase with a comfortable margin). I was quite hesitant about the price, but I feel it's perfect in every aspect except luggage capacity – the looks, sound, operability, comfort, and performance (perhaps the upgrade from a 2005 Estrella 250 is also a factor?). I truly feel I made the right choice buying it. As I've only ridden about 400km and am still in the break-in period, I'll update on maintenance costs and any potential issues in the future.

Future Customization Plans

First, I plan to install a Beams BR EVO M2 slip-on muffler. (I fell in love with the dual exhaust design at first sight.)
