Webike's Opinion

Here is a "YAMAHA CYGNUS GRYPHUS" custom by Webike community user "Mako's". Originally finished in the GP 60th Anniversary Silky White color with a striking red-and-white contrast, this CYGNUS GRYPHUS has been transformed into the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition. The bold color scheme and graphics, reminiscent of the YZR-M1 ridden by the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team, make this scooter stand out on the streets.

For the exhaust, the owner opted for the SP Tadao PURESPORT S Full Titanium Exhaust with a stunning titanium blue finish. The SP Tadao logo adds an extra sense of pride in ownership. The owner is especially pleased with its performance and noted, "Some scooter exhausts don’t make much difference, and others improve flow but weaken low-end power. This one, however, noticeably increases torque in the low-to-mid range."

The one issue the owner had with the CYGNUS GRYPHUS was the instrument panel. While visibility was fine indoors or at night, during the day, the meter was difficult to read regardless of how the light hit it. To solve this, he installed a KOSO RX4 TFT Meter, which is bolt-on installable. With a full-color LCD display that automatically adjusts brightness and display mode between night and day, visibility has improved dramatically. The last photo in the gallery clearly shows the difference.

Another smart upgrade is the KIJIMA Helmet Lock, which KIJIMA designed for riders who find it inconvenient to store a helmet upside down under the seat. Now, the helmet can be securely hooked onto the upper section of the step floor, keeping the underseat storage free for other uses.
