New Transportation Access Established! Avoid Traffic Jams with the "Haga Utsunomiya LRT"
During race week, which attracts a large number of visitors every year, traffic volume on nearby roads increases, causing congestion. Therefore, starting in 2026, Mobility Resort Motegi has announced enhanced connections with the "Haga Utsunomiya LRT (Light Line)," which operates from the east exit of JR Utsunomiya Station. This system connects the streetcar (tram) running through Utsunomiya City with shuttle buses to the circuit, minimizing the impact of traffic jams. It will also make movement within the large venue extremely smooth.
This collaboration, which can be utilized by the increasing number of inbound international visitors and younger attendees without private cars, will allow for a greater number of visitors than ever before. It also improves access to accommodation facilities and tourist spots in the surrounding areas, allowing visitors to enjoy the region as a whole.
