Yoshimura has released a "Fender Eliminator Kit (License Plate Bracket)" compatible with Suzuki's road sport models, the "GSX-8T" and "GSX-8TT". This product is a set that includes a highly durable stainless steel bracket with weight-reducing cutouts and a coupler-on LED taillight that requires no wiring modifications. It is compatible with the 2025 and 2026 models, scheduled for release in late September, with a price of 39,600 yen (tax included).

A design that makes the rear section look sleek with a stainless steel bracket

The "Fender Eliminator Kit (License Plate Bracket)" released by Yoshimura is a customization part that transforms the rear end of the Suzuki GSX-8T and GSX-8TT into a more stylish and streamlined impression. By replacing the stock large rear fender, the rear section is made more compact, creating a form that highlights the bike's original sporty silhouette.

The main bracket is made of highly durable stainless steel, ensuring sufficient rigidity to withstand riding vibrations and loads while achieving miniaturization and weight reduction. The bracket itself features a three-slot cutout design, and the license plate holder also has a Yoshimura logo cutout, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. The mounting structure and procedure for the vehicle have also been considered, pursuing ease of installation.

Achieves high functionality and compatibility with an included LED taillight that complies with safety standards

In terms of functionality, the design complies with the new safety standards (40° upward angle), meeting the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's standards for license plate display. The included LED taillight is E-marked (E-R50) certified based on the "Mutual Recognition Agreement on Type Approval for Vehicles," ensuring compliance with vehicle inspections. Connection is via a coupler-on type, allowing for installation without complex wiring modifications.

In addition to the taillight unit, the kit includes a reflector and a sticker to be applied below the reflector. The turn signals can be reused and relocated from the genuine parts. However, as a point of caution, the manufacturer states that side cases, which are part of the manufacturer's accessories, cannot be installed because the relocated genuine turn signals will interfere with them when this kit is installed. Furthermore, if the overall length of the vehicle changes by 30mm or more due to the fender elimination, a structural modification application procedure may be required at the local transportation branch office.
