[New motorcycle model] Ducati's new "Monster+" pays homage to the legendary S4! New gray x red color scheme released July 25th for ¥1,790,000!

Ducati Japan is launching a new color lineup for the "Monster+" called "Sport Color," available at authorized dealerships nationwide starting Saturday, July 25, 2026. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is ¥1,790,000 (tax included).

Refined Riding Experience with Lightweight V2 Engine and Latest Electronic Controls

The new Monster+ is equipped with a newly developed 890cc liquid-cooled 90-degree V-twin engine, the lightest in Ducati's history. It delivers a maximum output of 111 hp (at 9,000 rpm) and a peak torque of 91.1 Nm (at 7,250 rpm), characterized by strong torque delivery from low to mid-range RPMs.

Maintaining over 80% of its peak torque across a wide RPM range from 4,000 to 10,000 rpm, it offers both ease of handling in urban environments and exhilarating acceleration on winding roads. While compliant with Euro 5+ regulations, it also boasts a high practical usability with a valve clearance inspection interval of 45,000 km.

The electronic control system supporting its aggressive performance is also comprehensive, featuring four riding modes and four power modes. Standard equipment includes Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Engine Brake Control (EBC), and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up/down 2.0, providing riders with a high level of confidence and enabling riding experiences tailored to their skill level.

The cockpit features a highly visible 5-inch color TFT display. This allows for easy switching of riding modes and checking vehicle information, as well as compatibility with various optional equipment.

Monster+ (2026) Color Variation: "Sport" Introduced

The "Sport" color scheme is based on gray, with racing red accents on the wheels, seat, front fairing, tail section, and fuel tank. It was developed inspired by the color scheme of the "Monster S4," which was the first Monster series model to feature a liquid-cooled 4-valve engine.

The gray and red color combination emphasizes the design of the standard front fairing and passenger seat cover. The contrast between gray and red creates an impressive styling that fuses sportiness and elegance at a high level.
