TANAX, a motorcycle parts dealer, has introduced a new type of wire helmet lock that attaches to a handlebar clamp. A straight wire type and coiled wire type are available in five colors each, and they are now available at Webike.

Before this handlebar clamp type, TANAX had previously released other wire helmet locks as well. The conventional one was a mirror clamp type, but the problem was the distance between the clamp position and the tank, where the helmet is placed after being locked. The new handlebar clamp type has been improved in this respect: it clamps to the handlebar mount close to the tank, allowing the helmet to be placed on the tank with greater stability.

The 3-digit dial lock system has been inherited from the previous models, and the fact that the helmet can be locked without the need for a key is a nice feature. Installation of the main unit is very easy: simply attach it to a handlebar clamp with M8 x 50mm bolts. Above all, many people will be attracted by the gear-inspired design. Just by attaching it to the handlebar, you can enjoy it as a dress-up accessory. There are many color variations, so you will be able to find a color that matches your own bike.

The straight type that wraps up neatly is recommended!

There are two types of wire: a straight type and a coiled wire type, and you can choose whichever you prefer. However, if you have no particular preference, we recommend the straight type. This is because the straight type can be wrapped around the lock when not in use, and looks neat and tidy. The coiled wire type stands out more, and though that might be a plus for some people, many are probably happier if the wire can be stored neatly when not in use.

It can also be used for jet helmets, which is not possible with the coiled type. This is because the wire can be threaded through the D-ring on most helmets. Some people may prefer the coiled type, but the straight type is more versatile. We highly recommend this wire lock for those who want to lock their helmets easily and quickly.
