Cross Cub 110 (110cc) Owner: koba
Honda's Cross Cub 110 is a leisure bike that fuses the robust reliability of the Super Cub series with an outdoor taste. Since the debut of the first model, its approachable style and tough character, designed with unpaved roads in mind, have captivated many fans. The current model features cast wheels, improving maintainability and rigidity, and offering more modern touring capabilities.
The owner featured today, koba, chose this Cross Cub 110 as a replacement for their beloved CT110, which they had used for many years. From the perspective of an owner familiar with the legendary CT110, they highly praise the new Cub's running performance and fuel efficiency. Their custom concept, aiming for an adventure touring specification, is also very concrete, conveying their enthusiasm to fully enjoy this new journey with the bike.
<From MY BIKE Comment>
■ Reason for Purchase / Usage / Comparison Models
My CT110, which I used for 28 years, was totaled in an accident, so I needed a replacement.
■ Strengths
While the CT110 got about 40 km/L, the CC110 gets over 60 km/L, so it's fuel-efficient. Vibration is low within 60 km/h. Smooth acceleration. Light handling. Perhaps due to the rigidity of the cast wheels, it feels more like a motorcycle than a cub.
■ Weaknesses
Cruising range. Refueling every approximately 200 km is advisable.
■ Advice for Future Buyers
Removing the left and right covers to install electrical equipment requires a knack. If you don't loosen the wiring as much as possible, the center cover won't fit.
■ Future Custom Plans
Under guard, windshield, fog lamps, rear box, amateur radio... antenna installation, center carrier, smart monitor, USB port, accessory socket
