In this project, the editorial department picks up and introduces one interesting bike from the "My Bike" posts on the Webike Community. This time, we are featuring the BMW "R1250RT", owned by "Kafka".

R1250RT (1254cc) Owner: Kafka

The BMW RT series is the company's flagship tourer, which has garnered immense support from long-distance touring riders around the world for many years. The R1250RT is equipped with a horizontally opposed 2-cylinder "Boxer engine," characterized by stable handling due to its low center of gravity and a large fairing that boasts overwhelming wind protection performance. With the latest electronic control technology generously incorporated, its design philosophy, which pursues more comfortable and safer long-distance travel, can truly be said to embody the "Joy of Riding."

Kafka, whom we are introducing this time, is a genuine RT fan who has ridden four BMW RTs in total. The episode of returning to this bike after flirting with others shows the high level of overall perfection that the RT possesses. Kafka, who affectionately calls it an "old man's bike" and declares it his "final bike," has a very high level of satisfaction, and his stance of loving the stock condition shows his deep trust in this perfected package.

<From My Bike Comments>

■ Purchase motivation, usage, and comparison models

This is my 4th BMW RT. I flirted with various other bikes in between, but in the end, I couldn't resist its overall appeal and returned to it once again. Ultimately, this must have been the "final bike" for me.

■ Pros

Everything.

■ Cons

The color. Since I bought it used, I couldn't choose.

■ Advice for those who are going to buy one

You won't regret buying it, but it's better for young people to ride various other bikes first.

■ Future custom plans

No particular plans. I'm a fan of the stock condition.
