Aoshima Bunka Kyozai Co., Ltd. (Aoshima), a seller of plastic models and hobby kits, is releasing a 1/12 scale plastic model kit of the Honda "NC26 Steed VSE '96"! It is priced at 3,960 yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release in December.

Includes Custom Parts for Classic and Dragster Styles!

The Honda Steed, released in 1988, featured a water-cooled, narrow-angle V-twin engine that delivered powerful, pulsating output characteristics, especially in the low to mid-range, mounted on a low and long chassis. The double cradle frame was combined with a new rear fork designed to resemble a fixed rear axle system, making it a popular American-style sports bike that offered a powerful pulsating feel and a relaxed, comfortable ride.
In 1996, the Steed VSE was added, emphasizing a wilder image with aluminum dish wheels, a slightly upturned rear fender, dedicated seats, side covers, and new, wider handlebars.
This 1996 Steed 400VSE is reproduced in 1/12 scale. It can be built in either normal or custom specifications, with custom parts included for both classic and dragster styles.
