This project features a bike picked by our editorial team from the MY BIKE posts on the Webike Community. This time, we're featuring the Kawasaki "Z750R", owned by "tachuBoy".

Z750R (750cc) Owner: tachuBoy

The Z750R was released as a model based on Kawasaki's mid-class naked bike, the Z750, with enhanced sporty suspension and braking performance.

It is a representative model of the streetfighter style that was popular mainly in the European market at the time, and its major feature is the combination of an easy-to-handle displacement and aggressive riding performance inherited from supersports.

Specifically, the R model features reinforced front forks and brake calipers, achieving handling that is faithful to the rider's intentions, from winding roads to high-speed runs.

tachuBoy chose the Z750R as their first partner after obtaining their large motorcycle license. The decision was driven by their admiration for the Kawasaki brand and the style they fell in love with at first sight. They find the ample power for high-speed riding and the sharp response during acceleration very appealing, and they seem to be fully enjoying the potential of this streetfighter.

<From the MY BIKE Comment>

■Reason for Purchase, Usage, Comparison Models

Purchased as my first large motorcycle after getting my license. I had been looking for a Kawasaki for a long time and fell in love with it at first sight.

■Strengths

It has immense power, so it excels at high-speed riding. The ride is mild, but changing the muffler makes it powerful. Acceleration is devilishly fast. I think it's comparable to supersports. The looks might be divisive, but if you like the streetfighter style, it's fine.

■Weaknesses

It's heavy, so maneuvering it is tough. Also, the heat dissipation is intense.

■Advice for Future Buyers

Recommended if you can do your own maintenance. If you want to change the muffler, it's even more recommended if you can disassemble it yourself or can ask a shop to do it. Having knowledge of electrical systems would be a plus.

■Future Customization Plans

Muffler change, bar-end mirror change, fluid tank change, fender elimination, turn signal change
