CFMOTO has announced the domestic launch of the "PAPIO XO-1 R RACER," a 125cc model that offers a modern reinterpretation of the classic cafe racer essence. Like the base "PAPIO XO-1," this new generation "neo-retro" mini-sport features dual headlights, a distinctive full cowl, and vibrant wheel colors!

A Neo Cafe Racer with Distinctive Personality

The "PAPIO XO-1" is a unique mini-sport model that revives the atmosphere of a classic cafe racer with a modern sensibility. The newly released model is the "R RACER" specification, a full-cowl version. While sporting a sporty full cowl, the front mask with its retro dual headlights is almost identical to the base model. This creates a nostalgic yet novel silhouette reminiscent of vintage endurance racers.

The coloring, however, is entirely new, featuring CFMOTO's works colors, which are also seen in their MotoGP (Moto3 class) participation, emblazoned across the entire bike, including graphically designed wheels. This results in a new specification that exudes an unparalleled and striking individuality.

The easy-to-handle compact body size and nimble performance make it enjoyable for a wide range of situations, from daily city commuting to weekend touring. Despite its small displacement, it is designed to allow riders to fully experience a sporty riding feel, making it a model that stimulates the playful spirit.

Specially Designed Frame, Engine, and Suspension

The PAPIO XO-1 R RACER features a dedicated frame optimized for its compact body. This frame enhances the joy of intuitive control, from stop-and-go city riding to cornering on winding roads. The aim was to achieve a high-quality handling feel that surpasses the limitations of a small-displacement model.

At its heart is a 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. This engine harmoniously blends ease of use in everyday situations with sporty performance. Its characteristic smooth torque delivery from low RPMs allows for stress-free starts and acceleration in urban environments. The direct throttle response is also a highlight, offering both approachability for easy handling and the enjoyment of riding.

The suspension system features an upside-down front fork for excellent rigidity and a monoshock rear suspension. These components smoothly absorb impacts from the road while gently controlling the bike's attitude, achieving a balance between comfort in city riding and stability during sporty riding. Combined with the lightweight chassis, the reliable suspension allows for confident load transfer during cornering. The wheel size is 12 inches front and rear.

The braking system is equipped with disc brakes and a dual-channel ABS for both front and rear. This combination with the lightweight chassis provides both high braking power and ease of use. The controllable characteristics from initial braking allow for delicate braking that responds to the rider's intentions.
