This decision was made in consideration of the damage caused by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, the recovery status of the affected areas, and the safety of attendees. The postponed event is expected to be held in 2027 or later.

The BIKE LOVE FORUM (BLF) Executive Committee announced on August 6, 2026, the postponement of the "14th BIKE LOVE FORUM in Kumamoto Ozu," which was scheduled to be held on September 11 of the same year. This decision was made with the utmost consideration for the severe damage caused by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, the recovery status of the affected areas, and the safety of attendees and related parties.

Concurrently, the "Kinasse! Kumamoto Touring Campaign," a related event organized by the Kumamoto Ozu Touring Campaign Executive Committee, and its commemorative stage event scheduled for September 12, have also been postponed. The organizers are seeking the understanding of participants who were looking forward to the event and those who had been preparing for it.

The new dates for the postponed events will be determined after careful assessment of the recovery status of the affected areas and the local reception capacity, with the aim of holding them in 2027 or later. The events announced for postponement are the main conference of the "14th BIKE LOVE FORUM in Kumamoto Ozu," scheduled for September 11, 2026; the related event "Kinasse! Kumamoto Touring Campaign," originally planned from August 1 to November 30; and the commemorative stage event for the same campaign, scheduled for September 12.

The BIKE LOVE FORUM (BLF) is operated by an executive committee organized jointly by motorcycle-related organizations such as the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association Inc., the National Federation of Motorcycle Cooperatives, and the Japan Motorcycle Promotion and Safety Association, as well as local governments including Kumamoto Prefecture, Ozu Town, Mie Prefecture, and Shizuoka Prefecture. It has been held annually as an important conference aimed at promoting the motorcycle industry and fostering motorcycle culture. The Kumamoto Ozu Touring Campaign Executive Committee, which organizes the related events, is composed of 10 organizations from the motorcycle industry, including the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, and is engaged in activities aimed at regional revitalization and promoting the appeal of motorcycle touring.
