This project picks up and introduces one bike that the editorial department is interested in from the "My Bike" posts on the Webike Community. This time, we are featuring the HONDA "Magna (V-TWIN MAGNA)", owned by "HideG".

Magna (V-TWIN MAGNA) (250cc) Owner: HideG

Honda's "V-TWIN MAGNA" is a 250cc cruiser model that debuted in 1994. Equipped with a liquid-cooled 4-stroke V-twin engine, it achieves an authentic low-and-long American style. It is characterized by its imposing body size that makes it hard to believe it's a 250cc, and its dual megaphone mufflers on the right side, which boasted immense popularity, especially among young people at the time. Even today, its unique style and presence have not faded, and it is known as a masterpiece with a strong fan base in the used market.

Owner HideG fell in love with the style of the Magna he rode during his student days, and decided that if he were to ride a bike again, the "Magna was the only choice." He decided to repurchase it, drawn by its charms not found in current models, such as its massive body size for the 250cc class and the dual right-side mufflers. It's an episode that conveys the charm of the Magna, which has been loved for many years.

■Purchase Motivation, Usage, and Comparison Models

I originally fell in love with the stock style of the Magna and rode it.
After letting it go once, if I were to ride a bike again, the Magna I rode in my student days was the only choice.
The dual right-side megaphone mufflers and the largest body size in the 250cc class!
Even looking at current bikes, I was drawn to the Magna and bought it after all.

■Pros

Good reach to the ground, straight-line stability that takes advantage of the vehicle weight, a riding position that doesn't get you tired even over long periods, and if it's not lowered, it has a decent bank angle, so you can enjoy winding roads to some extent.

■Cons

Since it's a bike over 20 years old... I suppose the point is that it requires a fair amount of maintenance to maintain both its appearance and performance?
But that's also part of the fun!

■Advice for Future Buyers

As mentioned in the cons, it's that kind of bike, so it might be tough unless you're someone who can study and enjoy maintenance?

■Future Custom Plans

I aim for a mix of practicality, classic style, and a modern touch.
