Royal Enfield Holds Dealer Custom Contest in Europe. German Dealer Achieves Consecutive Victory

Royal Enfield announced the winner of the second season of its European dealer custom contest, "Busted Knuckles Build Off," at "The Bike Shed Show 2026" held in London. The Grand Prix was awarded to "SHAAN," a custom Shotgun 650 created by German dealer Motorrad Bläsing.

Finalists from Six European Countries Compete Based on Shotgun 650

Royal Enfield's "Busted Knuckles Build Off" is a custom contest where its dealer network competes in technical skill and design creativity. Six dealers from six countries, selected from numerous concept proposals gathered from across Europe, each received a customization subsidy of £5,000, and their custom bikes were completed after a six-month production period.

Custom vehicles from representatives of Germany, the UK, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Portugal were exhibited in a special area at "The Bike Shed Show," held from May 22-24, 2026, at Tobacco Dock in London, UK. The winning vehicle was determined by a combination of public voting by thousands of attendees and judging by experts and Royal Enfield designers.

Motorrad Bläsing from Germany, which won the Grand Prix, achieved its second consecutive victory, following its win in the first competition held in 2023. The winning entry, "SHAAN," is based on the Shotgun 650, and according to Thomas Bläsing, who led the production, it was the most complex project the team had undertaken to date. The winning team will receive an invitation trip to the company's event, "Motoverse," held in Goa, India.

Adrian Sellers, Head of Custom & Motorsport at Royal Enfield, stated that each dealer expressed the potential of the Shotgun 650 in their own unique way. Documentary footage following the production process of each build is being sequentially released on Royal Enfield's official social media channels.
