Royal Enfield has begun accepting online applications for the limited edition "SHOTGUN 650 × ROUGH CRAFTS EDITION," a collaboration with custom motorcycle factory "Rough Crafts," starting July 15, 2026. Only 5 units will be sold in Japan, with a price of 1,356,300 yen (tax included).

Royal Enfield has created a special limited edition model, the "SHOTGUN 650 × Rough Crafts Edition," in collaboration with Rough Crafts, a world-renowned custom motorcycle factory based in Taiwan. The base model is the "SHOTGUN 650," which boasts high popularity as a customization platform, powered by a 650cc parallel-twin engine. This collaboration symbolizes Royal Enfield's deep connection with custom motorcycle culture.

This limited edition model was developed with inspiration drawn from Rough Crafts' custom motorcycle, the "Caliber Royale." It was first unveiled at the Milan International Motorcycle Show (EICMA2025) in November 2025 and subsequently exhibited at "Motoverse 2025" in India, garnering significant attention from custom fans worldwide. Now, this highly anticipated model is finally going into production.

Adrian John Sellers, Head of Royal Enfield's Custom & Motorsport division, expressed confidence in the finished product, stating, "This elegantly expresses the custom-first concept of the Shotgun 650. It harmonizes with Rough Crafts' signature black and gold aesthetic, allowing us to deliver the artistry and aggressive silhouette of the Caliber Royale to riders around the world."

The bodywork combines two distinct black finishes – gloss jet black and matte stealth black – to create beautiful contours and depth. Furthermore, seamless gold leaf stripes flow across the entire body panels, and the serial number is engraved on the top of the fuel tank. Cast brass collaboration badges, identical to those on the Caliber Royale, adorn both sides of the fuel tank, emphasizing its exclusivity.

No compromises have been made in the suspension or detailing. Numerous premium exclusive features are incorporated, including gold-finished front fork inner tubes, contrasting color aluminum wheels, black bar-end mirrors, and a high-quality quilted leather seat. Additionally, purchasers will receive a luxurious bonus: a custom build sketch of the Caliber Royale (numbered artwork) redesigned by Rough Crafts founder Winston Yeh and personally signed by him.

A total of only 25 units, each with a serial number engraved, will be produced globally across India, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America. Just 5 units have been allocated for the Japanese market, making this an extremely rare model. Purchases will be made through a lottery system via online pre-application. The application period is from Wednesday, July 15, 2026, 2:30 PM to Wednesday, July 29, 2026, 4:00 PM. The lottery to determine the purchase rights holders will be held on the same day, July 29, at 6:00 PM. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is 1,356,300 yen (tax included).
