GOODS' SR400

Motor Garage GOODS has tackled a wide range of styles over the years, from choppers and cafe racers to stock-look builds. This time, they’ve crafted a tracker-style SR400 composed entirely of their own original parts.

The rear of the seat rail has been cut, and an SR cowl seat kit installed. Its integration with the shop’s popular teardrop vintage tank is exceptional, giving the bike a race-inspired vibe. Under the seat, the classic “skatune” modification allows a clear view of the opposite side of the frame, while the handlebar area is neatly streamlined with a relocated meter and mini switch. Even small details, like the turn signals mounted on the down tube, receive meticulous attention, resulting in a light, agile silhouette typical of the tracker style. Although the rear wheel has been downsized to 16 inches, pairing it with a high-profile tire preserves the horizontal line characteristic of tracker bikes, while making the rear stand out.

Built entirely from original parts, most of which are bolt-on, this full custom machine achieves an impressive level of perfection. It not only showcases the extensive parts lineup from the shop but also reflects the skill and design sense honed from years of crafting diverse styles.

Handlebar

Closed handlebars paired with Jackhammer grips. The mini switch keeps the handlebar area neat and tidy.

Electrical

The meter has been relocated to the side, making the handlebar area even more streamlined. The side meter bracket, mounted to the under-stem, is also worth noting.

Bodywork

The side-mounted Bates-style light and its brackets are both original parts made by GOODS, creating a simple front end.

The teardrop vintage tank’s sleek shape complements the tracker style perfectly, adding a touch of sporty flair.

The seat rail was cut and a cowl seat kit was installed. The sporty form suits both cafe racers and tracker builds beautifully.

Intake & Exhaust

A trumpet-style silencer has been chosen. Together with the exhaust pipe, both are made of stainless steel and give off a beautiful shine.
