[New motorcycle model] Kawasaki's 2027 New Ninja ZX-4RR / 4R SE to be released in August! New silver color appears, price remains unchanged.

Kawasaki Motors Japan will release the 2026 models of the "Ninja ZX-4R SE" and "Ninja ZX-4RR," 400cc supersports equipped with a parallel four-cylinder engine, on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The main change is the addition of a new color for the SE model. Prices remain unchanged at 1,177,000 yen for the SE and 1,210,000 yen for the RR.

Parallel Four-Cylinder Engine Delivering 77 PS and Comprehensive Equipment

The ZX-4RR debuted in 2023. It filled the vacant spot in the 400cc four-cylinder supersport category, boasting a class-leading power output of 80 PS.

The "Ninja ZX-4R SE" is equipped with a 399cm³ liquid-cooled 4-stroke parallel four-cylinder engine that produces a maximum output of 57kW (77PS) at 14,500rpm. This engine, infused with Kawasaki's advanced technology, is combined with a compact frame to achieve high dynamic performance and agile handling. Its power, which transcends its class, makes it a popular model as a leading middleweight sportbike.

Equipment includes Integrated Riding Modes, which combine traction control and power modes, and a TFT color LCD display. Furthermore, a smoked windscreen, frame sliders, and a USB power socket are standard equipment, offering a package that meets the needs of a wide range of riders, from beginners to veterans.

The higher-spec "Ninja ZX-4RR" features SHOWA SFF-BP front suspension and a BFRC-lite rear shock absorber, delivering high performance suitable for track riding. The main differences from the SE model are the clear windscreen and the omission of frame sliders and a USB power socket, making it a more specialized specification for sporty riding.

The 2027 model year introduces a new color for the SE, "Galaxy Silver." The existing "Metallic Spark Black" for the SE and "Lime Green" for the RR remain unchanged. Prices are also unchanged at 1,177,000 yen for the SE and 1,210,000 yen for the RR.
