World Superbike to be held at Australia's new circuit "The Bend" starting in 2028!

Starting from the 2028 season, the Superbike World Championship (WSBK) will etch a new chapter in its history at a new Australian venue: Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, also known as "The Bend." Located in South Australia, this circuit has joined the WorldSBK international calendar through a multi-year agreement, commencing with the 2028 season.

Australia has been a significant country for WSBK since its inaugural event in 1990, producing numerous successful riders and delivering memorable moments for nearly four decades. "The Bend," the new WSBK venue, is one of Australia's premier motorsport facilities, boasting state-of-the-art infrastructure and multiple circuit configurations suitable for hosting international events.

Strengthening South Australia's Position as the Motorsport Capital

With WSBK joining MotoGP, the Adelaide 500, and the AirTouch 500 Enduro, this announcement reinforces our commitment to motorsport and reflects our determination for South Australia to remain the home of motorsport in this nation.
