A new initiative for riders, the "Webike Touring Rally in Tochigi ~Motegi, Eastern Prefecture, and Utsunomiya Area Edition~," kicked off on Friday, August 21, 2026. You can earn Webike points just by riding your bike to visit all 43 spots. Notably, the event runs until Monday, October 5, which completely covers the weekend of the "MotoGP™ Grand Prix of Japan." Ride through Tochigi and head to the world's premier race. This autumn, a luxurious touring plan awaits you here.

6 cities and towns in Tochigi Prefecture, 43 spots in total. A digital rally where you just ride and check in has begun

The "Webike Touring Rally in Tochigi" is a touring-style digital rally held in collaboration with 6 municipalities in Tochigi Prefecture: Motegi Town, Haga Town, Utsunomiya City, Nasukarasuyama City, Ichikai Town, and Mashiko Town.
Participation is free. Simply install the Webike app, ride to the target spots, and check in on-site to participate easily.

The spots set for this rally are not just roadside stations and tourist facilities. They include local gems like soba restaurants and diners, shrines and temples where you can experience history and culture, hot springs, observation decks, and even the remains of a "phantom unfinished railway" station. There are 43 spots that riders will want to stop by. In other words, this rally effectively functions as a touring guide for the eastern part of Tochigi Prefecture. There's no need to worry about "where to go"; the system is designed so that if you connect the spots, a route is created automatically.

Up to 5,000 yen just by checking in. Understand how to accumulate points

There are only 4 steps to participate.

■STEP 01: Get the official Webike app from the App Store or Google Play
■STEP 02: Go on a motorcycle tour to the target spots in the Motegi, Eastern Prefecture, and Utsunomiya areas
■STEP 03: After arriving at a spot, check in using the app
■STEP 04: Earn Webike points for each check-in

Regular spots are worth 100 points each. If you visit all 43 spots, the total reaches exactly 5,000 points = 5,000 yen. Since 1 Webike point is worth 1 yen and can be used for Webike shopping, the distance you ride effectively turns into money for parts and gear.

The highest score is 800 points at "Mobility Resort Motegi." This is the heart of the rally

Featuring both oval and road courses, its design allowing for independent operation is a world-first structure.

Among the 43 spots, there is one with a higher point value.
It is the "Mobility Resort Motegi Central Entrance" in the Motegi Town area. This spot alone is worth 800 points for a single check-in. Equivalent to 8 regular spots, it is truly the key point of the rally.

What this point allocation means is clear. This rally is designed with Mobility Resort Motegi at its center.
And from Friday, October 2 to Sunday, October 4, the "2026 FIM MotoGP™ World Championship Series Round 16 MOTUL Grand Prix of Japan" will be held at Motegi. For riders going to watch the Japan GP, the act of heading to the venue itself becomes the best way to earn points in the rally.

On the morning of the race, leave a little early and pick up 2 or 3 spots on your way to the gate. Or, after watching the final, collect the remaining spots while waiting for the peak traffic to subside before heading home. The pleasure of this rally is that such "waiting times" and "detours" turn directly into points.

If you stay at the campsite, you can stay until checkout on Monday, October 5. It overlaps perfectly with the final day of the rally. After packing up, you can collect the last spots on your way home. Even that kind of conclusion is prepared for you.
